NEW YORK, 10/27/2003 -- XOsoft, a leading provider of Business Continuity software solutions, announced today the release of an open API (application programming interface) for its WANSync business continuity platform and Data Rewinder data corruption recovery solution. Aimed at broadening market and service opportunities around its innovative product offerings, the API will allow ISVs and OEM vendors to integrate high availability, disaster and data corruption recovery capabilities with their own hardware or software products.
The open API includes a software developer's kit (SDK) that gives software and hardware vendors full access to WANSync's server synchronization and real-time replication capabilities. The API also makes available Data Rewinder's unparalleled Rewind Technology, which enables administrators to quickly and easily "rewind" corrupted servers to a consistent state. Additional components offered will include access to development tools and design reference guides.
The introduction of the API accentuates XOsoft's commitment to its Global Partner Program, which maximizes business relationships through a tiered approach covering Teaming Partners (consulting firms or systems integrators), Value Added Resellers (larger firms with proven ability to deliver integration services with broad industry knowledge and distribution channels) and OEMs.
