Adam brings eight years of experience in online marketing to Connors' search engine optimization efforts. He provides the technical strategy for our clients in multiple languages and platforms while training both programmers and bloggers. He regularly brainstorms new features for HitTail as well as our enterprise-level SEO services. For our clients, Adam has led the search campaigns of such varied businesses as Extended Stay Hotels, Meatless Monday, and Evolution Robotics.
Before coming to Connors four years ago, Adam wore many hats at leading software developer Scala, Inc. including marketing coordinator, sales representative, webmaster, and interim production manager. There he produced case studies for end customers NASA and Bloomberg, helped Scala's software win the SIIA's 2002 Best Marketing Technology Solution, and championed expansion into the Asian market. This eventually resulted in a partnership with NEC Japan and Scala's CEO being named to Digital Media Magazine's Digital Media 100.
Adam was very active throughout his academic career at Penn State University. There he majored in journalism and minored in philosophy, serving as co-editor and webmaster of multiple publications before mentoring under another member of the Digital Media 100 -- Martin Nisenholtz, senior vice president of the New York Times Company. Today, he participates on the associate board of the New York branch of Upwardly Global, a non-profit organization that helps highly qualified immigrants find job positions that are worthy of their skills and rebuild their careers in America.
