An Open Letter from Connie Connors, President

Our mission has always been to make a difference in the way people live, learn and work. That remains the same, but the evolving media landscape is changing how we go about it and Connors Communications is changing with it.

We always acknowledged that the Internet would change the very fabric of our lives, in ways we are yet to discover. Right now our society is in a time of major transformation. The very framework of marketing and PR as we knew it has been turned inside out. We can no longer "talk at" our market, but we must listen and contribute value within a conversation. The consumer is now fully in charge.

There are 400,000 bloggers with between 20 and 1000 inbound links. They are the heart of what we call the "sphere of influence." These conversation contributors have the power to be a major market force when galvanized around an issue. In many areas they are already more powerful, and more leading edge, than traditional media. Matthew Hurst has several diagrams to demonstrate this concept.

Connors Communications is moving forward based on this momentous shift in the industry. We will focus exclusively on search marketing, and more specifically in the area of content development and deployment to help companies garner greater visibility online. We've been providing this service to a handful of companies over the past several years and we've developed an arsenal of software tools to differentiate us from other "optimization" firms. Our HitTail product continues to garner a steady momentum of satisfied customers.
