March Edition

Welcome to Spin Cycle

Spin Cycle is our clever newsletter that you will be reading monthly. How clever? The newsletter creators once defeated Chuck Norris in a spelling bee. The smashingly good content needs some variety and we would like to entice everyone into participating. So why would it be really cool to write for the Connors Newsletter? First, you will be a searchable name in Google, you can be sarcastic and smart with no dateline required, and it does not have to end with: Let me know if you have any questions, not to mention you will be helping make this newsletter a success.

Woman to Woman: How to enjoy the most wonderful time of year

March Madness is here and for many couples that means it's time to part ways until April 4th. Every game takes all of the concentration a man can muster so no cutesey, lovey-dovey talk with your husband or boyfriend. Ladies, if you want to hang around for the "March to the Final Four", you need to pull out the pom poms and get into the spirit. Already many a bracket has been busted by the likes of Bradley, George Mason University and Wichita State so your man may already be on edge. Be sympathetic and play nice. Give him the space he needs or get in the game. Good Luck to those who are participating in the Connors Brackets.

Websites We Like

Paulina: I enjoy www.BoingBoing.net because as outlandish as their blog entries are (such as "What Should I Do if My Eyeball Pops Out of its Socket?"), the same headlines and stories usually end up in huge, reputable publications and wires such as the NYT and AP within a few days of BoingBoing's posting.

Bryan: I love viral marketing campaigns and you’ll often find the beer industry at the forefront of such attention-grabbing tactics. Take Bud Light's recent campaign of Making Faces. They let you upload pictures of yourself or of friends and literally put words in their mouth by assigning them to say specific things. It makes for great laughs and great branding.
