Software shortcut allows for easy installation of HitTail in major blogging platforms
NEW YORK, 05/16/2007 -- All four major blogging platforms now support the new HitTail widget, delivering the functionality of HitTail's real-time keyword suggestions without the need for any programming knowledge.
A widget is a simple piece of software (often manifested as a button) which makes a program or service easier to install and use. This is accomplished by removing the need for any programming, thus providing the benefits of otherwise-complex tools to the general public.
By activating the HitTail widget, bloggers can easily add the HitTail functionality to their website without having to edit their templates to include the Javascript code. Members can then see their real-time sear results which, when implemented, will improve a site's natural search ranking or pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.
Mike Levin, the creator of HitTail, said the development of the HitTail widget is an extension of the product's over-arching philosophy.
